What is an Eagle Scout?

Being an eagle scout is not what you are called, but rather who you become

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest achievable rank in scouting. In short, it requires a certain amount of merit badges, time in leadership, and a final service project planned and led by the scout. What defines an Eagle Scout is more than the tasks they have done, but the character and morals they've learned and agree to live by the rest of their life.

The Project Goal

The plan was to build five herb gardens to be installed at different cottages at Hillsides -- a non-profit organization that benefits Foster Children. The planter boxes were built ahead of time and delivered with soil and herbs to plant as a teaching opportunity for the kids. Hillsides also planned on painting them as part of their art program.
